It was founded in Austin, Texas by Jamie Cameron and Joe Cooper in 2005. We provide virtual host administration products based on Webmin, the worlds most popular web-based UNIX and Linux system administration tool, with over 2 million downloads every year. Both Cameron and Cooper have a long track record in web-based system administration. Cameron is the author of Virtualmin, Webmin and Usermin, as well as the Bruce Perens' Open Source Series book Managing Linux Systems with Webmin: System Administration and Module Development (Prentice Hall PTR, 2003). Cooper is the author of The Book of Webmin: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love UNIX (No Starch Press, 2003) and the founder of Swell Technology LLC, an Open Source-based web-caching appliance vendor in operation from 1999 to 2005.
