Cloudmin Roadmap

This page lists features that are planned or under active development for Cloudmin, and their expected release versions :

  • iSCSI support Currently Cloudmin has no built-in support for sharing disks between host systems with iSCSI. An improved user interface for this is planned for the 6.1 or later release.

  • Unified password change form Currently the UI in Cloudmin for changing the actual password of a virtual system is separate from the UI for changing the password used to login to a system, which is confusing. The 6.1 release will combine this into a single more easily findable page.

  • Hosting Virtualmin services for multiple systems Virtualmin features like DNS and MySQL are currently run independently on each system, which consumes significant CPU and RAM. This feature will allow those features to be centrally hosted, which allows Virtualmin to be run on systems with much less RAM. This has been implemented, and is currently being beta tested by interested customers.
