CentOS

Bleeding edge package repositories for CentOS 5. If you need a newer PHP version than the default CentOS version, enabling this repository may be a solution.

A common cause of installation/update errors on CentOS is due to having third party repositories installed. If the installer is having trouble installing packages, verify that there aren't any third party repositories conflicting with your primary repositories.

Debian

Upgrading Debian etch to lenny with distupgrade

Upgrading Debian Lenny to Squeeze with distupgrade

Ubuntu

Upgrading Ubuntu 8.04 LTS to 10.04 LTS with distupgrade
