Redirecting SSL connections 2005/11/15 07:41
This is more of a Webmin feature request...

When Webmin is set to redirect http requests to https, it replaces the hostname in the url with the hostname of the box, which works fine but its not very graceful. Could it not just redirect to the same url on https ??

Hi Chris.

You might want to double check this. It works fine for me. When my user enters

http://www.something.com:10000

they are redirected to https://www.something.com:10000

No hostname is added or subtracted. Hostname is only added when i type in a direct IP.

Thanks.
Faisal.

I guess this is sleep deprivation. You are right. I get the same thing.

Sorry

Thanks.
Faisal.
