It feels "odd" to me to use root to log into VirtualMin from a browser. Somehow while I guess https is secure, it doeesn't "feel" secure.

I would just rather change it. I looked everywhere in the UI but can't find a place to change this.

you can make a new user in Webmin Users and Groups and grant this user less privileges than root but enough to work properly and use that instead.

https is not soooo secure when using the ssl2 protocol
