Hi all,
I just saw this awesome new operating system at Best Buy and I was so excited I had to call Jamie right up. I said, "Dude, have you heard about this Vista thing? It's awesome! Apparently these Microsoft dudes have been making operating systems for years, so they must be really good at it. Man, this Vista thing...it's got animations on everything, and the Geek Squad guy is telling me all about some kind of incredible new security model. We've gotta build Virtualmin for this thing, right away. Forget all that Open Source crap."
So, Jamie dropped everything, and got started right away, and we plan to launch the new Virtualmin .Net sometime this quarter (we're using Visual Studio .Net for the new version, so we think our productivity will be quadrupled over our old vim and perl combination). All new versions of Virtualmin will run only on Windows Vista and will be viewable on any browser that is Internet Explorer 7. Nevermind that the hosting market is currently dominated by Linux and Apache, we think this whole "Windows" thing is really going to take off on the server.
Please let us know if you'll need any assistance migrating your data from the old Virtualmin running on Linux to the new Virtualmin .Net running on Vista. We can be reached on our $99 per minute customer support phone line. We'll tell you that number just as soon as you buy a metric boatload of our products.
