What needs to happen to get the scripts updated to the latest versions?

Hi,
I have not seen the updates available.
Can you reinstall virtualmin?

Hi Lance -- I don't recommend reinstalling. It's not likely to fix your problem, but it is likely to cause other problems :-)
What version of Virtualmin are you running?
If you go into System Settings -> Script Installers -> Upgrade Scripts, and you look at the dropdown next to "Script and new version" -- what version of Joomla does it say is available in there? -Eric

Hi Eric,
I have looked at the settings and it does not see that joomla is installed.
Oh dear how do I get it to know I have installed joomla?
Not good

Hmm, had you initially installed Joomla via Virtualmin Pro's Script Installer feature?
Or did you install Joomla manually, outside of Virtualmin? -Eric

Can you reinstall virtualmin?
Goodness gracious! Don't reinstall Virtualmin! That's never the right answer, unless the question is, "My Virtualmin installation failed with the following error...I've fixed the cause of that problem, now what do I do?"
Reinstalling on a production system could only ever break tons of stuff, and will never fix things.
But, back to the problem at hand...I have no idea how Virtualmin would have forgotten you'd installed Joomla...I've never seen or heard of that happening.
But, I guess you could go to your system backup from before the problem existed (I trust you have good backups), and pull out the domain specific file that normally contains the installed apps data. (I believe everything is in /etc/webmin/virtual-server/scriptlog/domainid )
You can find the domain ID number using the list-domains command, something like this:
virtualmin list-domains --id-only --domain domain.tld
Just make sure you don't overwrite with a version of that file that doesn't have newer information. You may need to manually merge the two.
