It is very nice that server owners can be allowed to have SSH access, but I don't want them to be able to climb up the directory tree. Is there a way to prevent this? Is this OS specific or something that could be controlled by VM Pro? For FTP this is possible, but I was told it is not possible for SSH, which is not very satisfying.

The administrator has disabled public write access.

The only way to do it is to chroot the user. There are quite a few options available if you search for 'chroot ssh' using google...but out of the box there is nothing unfortunately :( (at least that I know of) Paul
