How to send emails through Virtualmin server 2008/05/11 08:31
Hello

I am new to Virtualmin but so far I am very pleased.

I managed to migrate all the domains managed by our company, but now we are facing a problem to get some Windows SBS customers that have POP3 global mailboxes on our server. This SBS boxes can't send email through our Virtualmin server. On the Virtualmin log keeps receiving message denying relay. I tryed to activate the SMTP Virtual server of Windows 2003 to authenticate but the problem remains.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

If the sending clients are on known IP addresses, you can just add them to the mynetworks list in Postfix.

SMTP authentication should also work, of course...you'd need to look in the maillog or mail.log to see what's going wrong. We can't guess without some actual error messages from the log.
