I would like to install applications, specifically Joomla in a subdirectory (say /joomla), and have the http://domainname.com direct to the Joomla installation.

I haven't found a simple, direct answer to this, after some searching of docs, forums, etc.

Is this a Proxy Path, where I put "/" and "http://domainname.com/joomla" in the two blanks?

Hi Ken,

While you could accomplish that using something along the lines of a Proxy Path -- personally, I'd probably just change the DocumentRoot to include "/joomla/" in it.

OK, Where do I set this up? You mean in Vmin? Noob, sorry.

Then, would that interfere if I later put a forum system at /forum, like inserting /joomla/forum in the URL or something?
