maybe someone of you can give me a hint.

I was to setup a test-domain named "itcabi.crbm.ch". I can do this as a real server or as a sub-server. The (sub-)domain is created. But when calling this domain in a browser, I redirected to a different webspace on my server. I renamed the domain by adding a "t" infront or adding a hyphen after "it". In both cases it works as it should. There is no similar named vhost on the server.

Any idea what causes this behaviour?

that sounds like a bug to me. Per haps issueing a ticket at the bugtracker would be appropriate.
