Fedora Core 5 and Webmin 2006/09/16 04:55
Hi,

I have just installed Fedora Core 5 - I notice that this OS is not explicitly listed on the Webmin site in Supported Operating Systems. Can anyone advise ?

Thanks

If you look on the main Webmin page and check out the extended version of the changelogs for version 1.290, you will see the following.

Changes since Webmin version 1.290

[b]Webmin Core[/b>

SELinux security contexts are preserved on files safely modified by Webmin's write-and-rename code.
Added xmlrpc.cgi program, which provides an XML-RPC interface to all Webmin module functions.

Tested and improved support for Fedora 5.

In theory, this should mean that Webmin can be installed on/with FC5.

The problem is, I myself have FC5 and I am having no luck with getting Webmin to work.

Will be posting more info in a seperate post.
