I'm rolling out the update for Webmin and Usermin as we speak. Will be in the repositories in a few minutes.
We generally recommend you stick with what is in the Virtualmin repo, unless you have a specific reason for upgrading (like maybe Jamie or I suggested it to fix a specific issue, or you're hitting a bug that is fixed in newer versions). We do some Virtualmin specific QA testing on all releases before rolling them out to the Virtualmin repositories. This cuts both ways, actually...sometimes we roll out development releases of Webmin to Virtualmin users in order to fix specific issues. And, in fact, if we know about a bug in Webmin or Usermin that effects Virtualmin users, it'll get attention immediately.
We've considered hiding the Webmin upgrade page, by default, in systems installed with the Virtualmin install script, in order to avoid any confusion over the recommended way to upgrade (there are an intimidating number of options for new users, already, and this is just one more way to confuse them)--but, so far, I don't think any action has been taken.
