virtualmin-universal does not have the new versions yet and they have been out for over a day.

Not saying they shouldn't be here too, but I usually get mine directly from:

I know I can manually install it but it defeats the purpose of paying for something and having to manually install a program that is suppose to be updated.

I'm confused Scott, what was the question?

When did webmin become not free?????

As always, go to webmin configuration, upgrade latest version webmin and let it do it's stuff. Nothing has changed.

I don't believe it's in the yum repos yet but what's the diff between logging into webin and upgrading or logging in and typing a yum command?

The installer for VM Pro installed webmin for me -- its been updating webmin and VM pro since then.... If I am suppose to install webmin manually now why is Joe forcing everyone to installed it through his script?

Second I never said I used yum. I use urpmi and the repo I use is not getting updated.

I don't know that webmin has ever updated on it's own. It gets installed with VM because it's needed, but I've had to yum all of the upgrades. Automatic upgrades can be dangerous, I always watch the webmin mail for problems before I do an upgrade. Beats the heck out of an unintentintional crash and there is the warning of opening the door for a hacker should the server be down at the time.
