Just to clarify -- are you asking if Windows can be used as a Guest OS (ie, a Virtual Machine) within something like Xen -- and then have that managed by Cloudmin?

Yes. I talk about Windows VMs (Virtual Machines) inside a Xen server, managed by cloudmin.
Yes, one of our beta testers worked with us on getting that working. There are limitations, as we have far less ability to work within the virtual machine, since Windows has never been our focus in Webmin, and so we don't have the APIs needed to do as much cool stuff within the virtual machine.
So, if you have a Windows image, you can boot it, shut it down, and a few other things. But we don't currently cover any inside-the-machine configuration or data gathering.
In other words: I can't enthusiastically encourage folks to consider Cloudmin the best solution for managing Windows guests at this point in time. We're certainly open to working on more capabilities in that area, and Cloudmin will get better at understanding Windows guests. But, it hasn't been our focus, so far, and it probably won't be super high on our todo list in the near future. Webmin does have a Windows version, though, and if we find there is sufficient demand (i.e. enough customers buying the software who use Windows heavily) we could potentially hire a Windows developer to help us out in making Windows a grade A supported OS in Cloudmin guests.
So, how many Windows virtual machines do you currently have? How many do you plan to deploy? (I'd welcome anybody else interested in this to chime in. We have so little exposure to the Windows web hosting world that we can't readily judge what people need or how they're using Windows in hosting.)

Most of our servers and VM's are Linux but we have some requests for Windows VMs.
Our idea was to keep focus in Linux, using your Virtualmin solution and Cpanel too. But we would like to offer windows VM's on the same platform, even without virtualmin or webmin, but having cloudmin managing it (create, install, reinstall, start, stop, pause, vnc, statistics, bandwidth management. etc). Of course the more the features the better as there are very very few solutions to manage Windows VM and Microsoft Hyper-V management solutions are very expensives for hosting business.
I also would like this, and I understand the limitations, but they're irrelevant to me. I'd like to accommodate as much as possible, including Windows VPS'. I've had quite an amount of customers I've had to turn down because I can't feasibly accommodate them due to limitations on the part of Cloudmin.
I would also like to see Windows VPS support. The whole idea behind Cloud Computing is to be able to use different OS's, and Windows is the next best platform after Linux.
FreeBSD would also be great :)
One item that is on my todo list for Cloudmin is being able to create a HVM Xen guest that has an initially empty disk, and is also connected to a CD image. That way you could install any OS you like. It may be a month or so away though..

Has anyone created a windows xp image yet ? I have a ISO but it seems its lacking the boot table so I can't create the image through cloudmin's "Manually Create Image"
i also only have a windows ISO and am stuck.
I don't think anyone knows what to do.

This is written for debian but should work for other distro's except for the apt-get part.
