Zone files not transferred to slave

Hello all,

I have set up a slave NS, but the zone files are not transferred. When I press View Records File, I get a message "This page shows the DNS records file /var/lib/bind/domain.com.hosts, created by BIND when the zone was transferred from the master server.

However the file is currently empty, probably because the zone has not yet been transferred from the master server."

Good chance the master cant write to it. When you added the slave did you select "make fast rpc calls" also by whom are the zones owned? named, bind or root? And is it the same as on the master?

Also are you not running BIND chrooted on the slave but are on the master?
