Restore virtualmin backup with different file system

I am moving my Virtualmin install to a new server. I have attached storage on the new server where I would like to restore the websites to. How do I restore a backup to a new location? i.e. original virtual server root: /home/ new virtual server root: /mnt/raid/home/

Howdy,

I'm not aware of a way to do that, unfortunately.

Further, moving your home directories outside of /home would cause some issues with suexec that would need to be taken care of.

However, another way to accomplish what you're after would be to just mount your storage array on /home on your new server.

Is simply creating a symbolic link a viable alternative?
