Checking Configuration

when i check the :recheck configuration" it gives the following message

"The status of your system is being checked to ensure that all enabled features are available, that the mail server is properly configured, and that quotas are active ..

BIND DNS server is installed, and the system is configured to use it.

Sendmail is only accepting SMTP connections on the following ports : 127.0.0.1 port smtp. Email from other systems on the Internet will not be accepted. This can be changed in the Sendmail Mail Server module.

.. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin."

how to fix the sendmail?

Howdy,

Hmm... how did you go about installing Virtualmin?

Sendmail isn't the default MTA, and Postfix would be typically configured out of the box to listen for emails on all interfaces, so it sounds like something may have been changed :-)

However, if you intentionally set it up to use Sendmail, the key would be to configure Sendmail to listen on all interfaces rather than just the local interface. I'm unfortunately not really up on how to configure Sendmail though, most of us here are Postfix people :-)
