Permissions problem with users mail dir after importing / migrating from backup

Hi guys,

Looks like there is a permissions issue with the latest Virtualmin GPL and imported servers. The email directories all have the permissions of the server owner eg. owner:owner and not user:owner.

Is this a known bug or should I be considering other factors when importing / migrating virtual servers?

Howdy,

While I've seen that on rare occasions in the past (mostly as a one-time "fluke"), if you can reproduce that issue pretty reliably, my recommendation would be to file a bug report using the Support link above.

Jamie will be able to work with you on getting that fixed up.

One thing I'd suggest verifying before you do that is to look on your old server, and just double-check that the permissions you see there are indeed correct, and not what you're seeing on the new server.
