Cloudmin 5.3 released

Cloudmin version 5.3 is now available for download from our YUM and APT repositories. Existing users should see a message on the Cloudmin Information page after logging in, prompting to upgrade to the new release.

This update contains several new features, including :

  • When multiple systems are shown on the Bandwidth Graph page, the units can now be selected and systems with no usage hidden.
  • Systems can be assigned to groups on the creation and addition forms.
  • Bandwidth usage is now collected from all new and recently restarted KVM instances.
  • Bandwidth usage for HVM (fully virtualized) Xen instances is now correctly collected.
  • The interfaces to collect bandwidth usage statistics on can be set for each system on the Network Interfaces page, for systems that have more than one.
  • When adding a disk to a Xen or KVM virtual system that uses LVM for storage, you can now select which volume group to create the disk in (or use a regular file).
  • Xen instances using whole-disk images but not HVM can now be created and managed by Cloudmin.
  • Added the wait-for-system API command, for delaying until one or more systems are usable.

It also fixes numerous minor bugs found since the 5.2 release. As always, please report any problems you find in this new version via the issue tracker.
