There are special filetypes called "sparse" files, which appear to take up a lot of space, but actually don't... and the above command will show how much space is really being used by those files.
according to http://virtualmin.com/node/33264 this is managed automatically, so I just deleted them all and it started maintaining them correctly. Today there are 2 folders in there, both from the last day.

What output do you get if you run this command:
du -sh /var/webmin

du -sh /var/webmin would include procmail.cache.pag, which isn't an issue.
Just the folder /var/webmin/diffs/ contains 110 folders, and combined size is 4.3G, the oldest one is Aug 2011.
I have the same issue. What did you ever do to resolve it?
