Creating a Plan - monthly data transfer limits

Hi,

When you have a virtual server on a plan (say Plan "A", which has 5GB/month as a transfer limit), what happens when the web site hits that limit? Is the serving stopped, or is it allowed to exceed its plan limit and the administrator notified?
