Use a different /tmp folder for backups ?

Hi,

i have a server with two file systems .. with 10GB on / and 1.8TB on /home

When i'm doing backups, it crashes because the /tmp makes the / file system full. I had not this beahviour on my old server but well i can imagine it's normal

What can i do ? tell virtualmin to make backup temp in /home/tmp ? or make a symbolic link from /tmp to a /home/tmp ?

Howdy,

You can choose a different /tmp directory for Webmin to use. To do that, go into Webmin -> Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> Advanced Options, and there, you can set "Temporary files directory".
