Incremental daily server backups backing up everything daily

I've set up incremental daily backups to Amazon S3 on my Webmin server, however the email reports I get always report the same size of backups... which are equal to the initial full backup. Maybe I'm just getting it wrong, but I thought incremental backups would be smaller in filesize compared to the original backup -- I've probably got it wrong in my settings though.

Can someone glance an eye over what I've got below, and maybe tell me where I'm going wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Running latest virtualmin (4.01gpl i think...)

My settings are as follows:

==== Virtual servers ====

Servers to save: all servers

==== Features and settings ====

Features to backup: all features Virtualmin settings also to backup: [all ticked]

==== Destination and path ==== Amazon S3 bucket

path: foo/bar/%Y%m%d

Delete old backups: every 30 days

Do strftime-style time substitutions on file or directory name [x]

Transfer each virtual server after it is backed up [x]

Backup format: One file per server

Backup Level: Incremental

==== Schedule and reporting ====

Scheduled backup time: Complex schedule at 0 1 * * 1-5

Howdy,

Hmm, you may want to verify when the last Full backup successfully ran.

If you go into Backup and Restore -> Backup Logs, you can see a list of your past backups... when does it show the last Full backup as successfully running?
