Default shared IP removed when any one of the servers deleted

I've run several Virtualmin GPL servers and have never run into this before:

99% of my servers run on a single shared IP address. This IP is NOT the main IP of Eth0: but is the IP of virtual interface Eth0:1.

When I delete any one of the servers that share the IP address, Eth0:1 is removed from the system as well. Everything is down until I recreate Eth0:1 with the shared IP address again.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix or have I done something wrong?

Thank you!

Forgot to mention - I'm running 4.06.gpl on Debian 7.4
