dump failed! mysqldump: Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server

Hi,

On a very large DB (12GB) backup stopped working and never did it after that. The error I'm getting is "dump failed! mysqldump: Error 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query when dumping table ....."

Any ideas how to troubleshoot that?

Using mysqldump from terminal works fine the db backup.
