1 domain name with 2 email servers is it possible

Hello,

I have one domain name that host 2 servers.

host1.mydomain.com has mail.mydomain.com ns / ns1

host2.mydomain.com has mail.mydomain.com ns2 / ns3

host2 has its own mail server but I am unable to send email from host1 to host2 and vice versa.

Can I just change all the DNS/MX records on host2 to mail2.mydomain.com and if so is there any other settings that I need to address in webmin?
