Virtualmin Setup script failed

Virtualmin (GPL) setup script failed to install properly on my OS. I had tried it twice as per the instructions given in the documentation but still it failed. I am on an OpenVZ VPS with 556 mb of dedicated RAM and no burstable RAM.

Kernel : 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.028stab060.2 Ref: http://www.virtualmin.com/node/11662

Looks like the error was in the line :

tr: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: Error 23

which indicates some fairly low-level issue with glibc that I haven't seen before.

Does it help if you run the command :

dpkg --configure -a

and then re-run the install script?

seems so .. It is able to get past that postfix failure , but again fails somewhere midway.

What is the error it is failing with now?

Sorry Sir , its too late. I have already called off my Virtualmin installation mission . I have said you my VPS's specification in as much details as possible. Ref: http://www.virtualmin.com/node/11662 . Please do the simulation tests yourself in similar environment to find out what is making the script stumble on this type of environment.

That's a pity, as I have installed on OpenVZ with 512M RAM with no problems several times in the past..
