Backup Error since system Virtualmin/Webmin software 3.90.gpl update last week

I was running full server backup with incremental save every hour. This was working fine with the average increment file backup on 47 domains at 250mb. Starting Feb 10th (after Virtualmin 3.90.gpl update), the incremental update started a full system update every hour. I deleted the saved backup and created a new one, but the same. There is a 4 hour gap in the logs after a 0MB update, the the full updates start. See the logs here:

If you click on that 0 size backup to view the full backup report, what does it say is the reason it failed?

I ended up deleting all backups, deleted the cron and then set up a new full backup (once manual) then created a new nightly incremental backup (local) and that seems to have worked. The incremental is working. Have not tried to increase the frequency past 24 hours though.

Also, a few days ago, I thought that I had better do a FTP backup offsite. Using the manual settings I created a backup with incremental and it backed up but only changed files since the previous local backup.

To fix this to set up a second backup, you first must do a FULL backup, then set up the incremental. Then all works fine.

Thanks DAvid

Yes, an incremental backup will only include files changed since any most recent full backup of the same domain.
