Email account not reactivated after turning server email off and on

Hi, I discovered that one of my clients had been sending spam through his virtual server. This was probably caused by a virus on his computer. He has now corrected the problem.

I turned off his email and after the problem was solved, chnaged his password and I turned it back on again in the ' Edit virtual server - Enabled features'

But now when I try to send an email to my client at thom@sibloans.com I am getting the following message:

'An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.1.1 Thom@sibloans.com: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table. Please check the message recipient Thom@sibloans.com and try again.'

When I try and access his account in Usermin, I get:

'Failed to login to IMAP server : Authentication failed.'

Here is an update. I noticed that there was no entry in the Virtual domains seetings in Postfix config, so I created one as follows: thom@sibloans.com thom-sibloans.com

I am not able to send email to his account and POP it.

But when I try and send email, I get this message:

Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent using SMTP server smtp.sibloans.com for an unknown reason. Please verify that your SMTP server settings are correct and try again, or contact your network administrator.

I still get the 'Failed to login to IMAP server : Authentication failed.' error when I try and get into UserMin

Ok the sending is okay now (it was asking for a security exception for a certificate). So it is just the Usermin access I am having problems with.

Thanks.

Howdy -- we're glad to hear email sending is working for you now. What problem is it that you're having with Usermin access?

The problem is that when I click on UserMin access for this client I am getting the following error message:

Failed to login to IMAP server : Authentication failed.

Thanks
