updateing from gpl version

I do not recommend it yet. But give me another few days and there will be a version of the installer that will handle upgrades in a limited fashion (but with little chance of problems). Here's another thread about the question that still applies:

I will work very aggressively to get the upgrade-from-GPL mode in operation as quickly as possible. It won't go into EA2, but it will come a couple of days after, and I'll make sure to announce the new script with this capability on the front-page in the news section.
