Virtualmin on a Power PC Yellow Dog Linux Setup?

Ok, don't kill me, but I gotta ask....

Will Virtualmin pro install on yellow dog linux running under a power PC processor?

Didn't say "supported", just curious if it will install... :)

Hey John,

No, and you're the first to ask for it. Weirdo. ;-)

That said, I suspect that the coming-soon version of the installer will work on your system in minimal/upgrade mode. However, you'll have to actually install all of the non-Webmin components yourself (i.e. apache with suexec configured correctly, postfix/sendmail, clamav, spamassassin, etc.). Not too bad if you've been using Virtualmin GPL already, probably.

And we'll try to support you in your endeavours once that installer is available, though we can't guarantee everything will Just Work(tm). (In fact, I think we can guarantee that it won't work easily, but it probably won't take more than an hour or so to get everything spinning smoothly if you are expert enough to be using a system that is somewhat less than mainstream. And we'll answer all the questions you care to toss our way, to the best of our ability.)
