Weird FTP issues

Hi,

I have just installed virtualmin , on my dedicated server running centos5.3 , it seems ot be set-up correctly , however when i login via ftp to upload the website foles , i can see all the directories , including public_html , however the two domains i have set-up , their folders do not seem to be in there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you see the folders if you log in as root over SSH?

yes i can see them under the /home directory.

Generally, if you have a FTP user within the Virtual Server /home/example_1, that user wouldn't be able to access files from within an unrelated Virtual Server, /home/example_2.

If you want to share files among those two, you'd want to create the second Virtual Server as a Sub-Server of the first one.

At that point, they'd all be owned by the same user/group, and one FTP user could access all of it.
