HTTP 500 Error

Hi,

I am getting 500 errors very often these days. For example, if I go to sleep and come back in the morning, I check on a website, I see a 500 error. Then, I reboot the server and the site starts working again. I think this is something to do with Apache but I don't really know! Can I get some help with this please?

Hi Josh,

Anytime you see 500 errors, the thing to do would be to take a look in the Apache error logs ($HOME/logs/error_log) for that particular domain. The cause of the error should be logged in there.

Take a peek in there, and if you have any questions regarding the errors, feel free to post the error messages here.
