VM Pro 3.99 doesn't display bandwidth

the system is Ubuntu 12.04.1 and on the Virtualmin system information page settings bandwidth is ticked, the page has been refreshed but there isn't a bandwidth diisplay on the front page. Anyone know how to make this happen?

Howdy,

You may want to try restarting Webmin, just to make sure something odd isn't going on... to do that, log into your server as root over SSH, and run this command:

/etc/init.d/webmin restart

After that, reload the page in your browser. Do you then see a bandwidth section?

so far so good, but when I then refresh the system info page I get these topics in the right hand pane:

system
status
new virtualmin features
new cloudmin features
virtualmin features
quotas
programs
cloudmin managed systems
virtualmin and cloudmin licenses

Fine as far as it goes but unchanged - no bandwidth report

Hmm, that's a bit unusual!

If you go into System Settings -> Bandwidth Monitoring, is "Bandwidth monitoring active" set to "Yes"?

And then if you click "Show Usage Graph", do you see the bandwidth stats there?

no! bandwidth monitoring was NOT set to ON, it is now and the bandwidth graphing works and the relevant item shows on the system information page. Thank you very much!
