failure of Virtualmin Confuration Check

When running Virtualmin >> System Settings >> Re-Check Configuration I see normal results up to the "Plugin AWstats" test ...

From that point I see

Plugin AWstats reporting is installed OK.
The mailman queue processor /var/lib/mailman/bin/qrunner is not running on your system. It can be started in the Bootup and Shutdown module.
.. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.

When checking the Bootup and Shutdown module, mailman shows "Start at Boot" = yes and "Running now?" = unknown

Status:
Active

Howdy -- are you hoping to use Mailman? If you don't need Mailman, that can be disabled.

You can disable that in System Settings -> Features and Plugins.

I'm trying to learn how to use Mailman :)

I've only been using Vm/Wm a few weeks, I'm trying to teach myself the ropes so I can create a battery of local VMs running different OSes for dev testing

Eventually the plan is to manage my own publicly accessible server, but for now I'm relying on a VPS provided by ServerMule for that

Another option is to go to Webmin -> Servers -> Mailman Mailing Lists, and click the button to create the system-wide mailman list.

I have created the system wide list ... it's currently the only list created if I click on the "Manage" button for that list, I get an error saying the list doesn't exist

Do you still get the configuration re-check error though?

getting the error elsewhere now, I think I may have broken Virtualmin (again)

If you're seeing that error on another system, try restarting Mailman on that system with "service mailman restart".

That error may just indicate that Mailman isn't running.
