Hi Ilia,
UPDATE
Almost no actions work in filemanager opened in own tab!
I just lost many, many hours of work caused by copy-paste. I have been working in a file for many hours and when I was almost finished I made a copy-paste to have a "backup" and got a filename(1).xxx as the pasted copy.
Then I deleted much of the file to leave just a part of it for another application, and did a copy-paste to get a "backup" for that file to, was expecting to get filename(2).xxx but instead it overwrote the previous filename(1).xxx !!! This is bad, Really BAD!!!
Can I revert the Authentic theme to a working version? and which version shall I use! I need a working File manager! And as I said, almost no actions work when it is opened in its own tab!

The delete/remove function in File Manager don't work after latest update when opened in own tab (right-click and open in...)

Yes, it really doesn't work when opened without navigation menu. I will take a look.
Can you tell me, what is your point of using it in non-standard way (without navigation menu)?
Yes, this is a bug. I will fix it right now. I am sorry about that!
Yes, you can install latest stable version from theme configuration page.
Okay, latest patch fixes an issue with overwriting existing files. It was a bug, due to new feature to keep filename extension when pasting files (like in desktop File Managers).
You no longer need to open new tab with File Manager. Simply click
Alt+A
to have navigation menu collapsed and have more space. Is this good for you?Okay, I have fixed single window mode and actions as well. Install latest dev version to make it work as you expect.

Hi Ilia,
Thanks!

I do use the file manager, and the text editor in it, very much. Often the files are located in complex folder structures and if I have to check or do something else in Virtualmin or Webmin while working in a file or just having the file manager open in a folder I have to leave the file manager. And when returning to continue to work with a file or just with the filemanager I have to click my way back to the right file or folder again and that takes a lot of time. Therefore I always open the filemanager exclusively in a browser tab, and sometimes I have several tabs open with or without open files under editing. In this way I can have my main Virtualmin tab open and do what I want without disturbing my work with the filemanager and files in the other tabs.
So this has nothing to do with space and so on its just a muuuuuch faster way of working instead of reopening the filmanager all the time.
I have not yet updated the theme, I'll do it in a while!
Thanks Ilia for your excellent work and fast support with help and fixes!!!
Best regards, Leffe
Leffe, you might find new functionality very useful - to add current file editor to Favorites and then access it in no time. You will not need File Manager to be opened to edit it.

That is a nice feature, and really useful for some purposes.
For me, the ability to have the file manager open in one or several tabs is a "must have". When doing online work on our own CMS I must have the file manager with me, because I have to be able to move around in 1000+ files and 260+ folders.
And I will for sure use the functionality to add files to favorites for some actions... I already have found use for it to some files that is changed almost on a daily base :-)
Regards, Leffe
