[SOLVED] Email accounts migrated from Plesk can't be accessed externally

After migrating accounts from a Plesk Onyx 17 server, everything is working 100%, including websites, DNS, etc.

But migrated emails can't be accessed (I can't login) both externally and through Usermin (on port20000), even after resetting their passwords.

Important: New email accounts, created on the same (migrated) domain, work perfectly and I can access them externally and on Usermin (I can login on them).

Is there any command that I could inform Virtualmin to "re-configure" those accounts, without losing the emails that are already saved on them?

Server details:

  • Ubuntu 18.04.2 64bit
  • Virtualmin 6.06.gpl-2
  • Dovecot 2.2.33.2
  • Postfix 3.3.0

Each migrated email account is wrongly "disabled". After selecting the account, in the "Email settings" -> "Primary email address enabled?", we can see that it comes selected to "no".

On an old migration I made a year ago, after changing it to "yes" solved the issue, but in the current case, even changing to "yes" isn't sufficient.

After the migration, first we need to change "Email settings" -> "Primary email address enabled?" to yes.

Only after we enable each account the login must work automatically. We only must change their passwords if, for some reason, the login doesn't work.

In my case, I changed the passwords of all accounts before realizing that I had to "re-enable" them.
