Hello,
I am not sure if this is a problem or if it will create problems in the future. The Virtualmin client seems to provide me an update/upgrade option for this package and it is only available via the terminal. Would upgrading it manually cause any problems down the road?

Howdy -- thanks for contacting us!
It should be no problem at all to update that from the command line. Virtualmin just uses apt as well, but there may be some sort of dependency that's causing Virtualmin to not be able to install it.
Doing it yourself using apt will be just fine though and shouldn't cause any problems.
