I went out for holiday, coming back home I found inbox full of spam. After a while, Trying to clean, move, copy and paste using RoundCube webmail software I got a: "500 Internal Server Error: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
I switched to SquirrelMail and I was able to login but when I try to take a look in the inbox folder I get this other message: "ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server. Query: FETCH 2696,2698,2700,2704,2709:2711,2713:2714,2716,2719:2723,2727,2730,2736,2738,2748,2752,2770,2785,2788:2789,2877,2887:2894,3150,3195,20355,20405:20417 (FLAGS UID RFC822.SIZE INTERNALDATE BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS (Date To Cc From Subject X-Priority Importance Priority Content-Type)"
In the other boxes I can read messages, only the inbox folder is kinda corrupted. How to fix that ?

What is being logged by dovecot to the /var/log/maillog or /var/log/mail.log when you try to open the inbox? That should explain what is really going wrong..

I solved restarting server ... there was also a problem with hard disk
