server crash

Who says nerds dont have humour? A server crashed last night with the following entries in the logs...Anyone know what it means?

Nov 14 05:26:22 sv01 kernel: Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 31 on CPU 0.
Nov 14 05:26:22 sv01 kernel: Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled?
Nov 14 05:26:22 sv01 kernel: Dazed and confused, but trying to continue

I'm guessing your BIOS or chipset is not quite perfectly supported by the kernel. You could try checking the BIOS settings...setting sleep and hibernate to be under the control of the OS rather than the BIOS. If that's already sane, you might even just turn those features off, since a server can't really sleep, anyway.

I've never seen this exact error, so I dunno. Just guessing wildly.
