Virtualmin System Information - update status reporting error?

Running virtualmin 3.73 gpl

I received a notification email that there were 4 new updates today, nothing unusual. I logged in and applied the updates and left the server. When I came back a few minutes later the updates shown on the screen were all completed. (I did not scroll to the bottom of the page to see that the last one had completed, it seemed like a sufficient amount of time to have them complete.)

I clicked on System information to verify the updates applied, and got a message saying there were 4 new updates, and it looked like they were the same ones on the first list. Oh well, I probably clicked too soon, so I went to install them again.

The update process started, and I got "nothing to do", so they probably did apply. So I checked "System Information" again. This time I got

Package Updates
wbt-virtual-server-theme Webmin theme 'Virtualmin Framed Theme' 7.5-1

Hmm, perhaps I was too quick on the keyboard. So I clicked on Install updates. This time I got

Now updating wbt-virtual-server-theme ..

No packages were installed. Check the messages above for the cause of the error.

Looks good. Let's check again, click on "System Information". This time I got

143 updates to system packages are available. Use the Virtualmin Package Updates module to install them selectively.

and there was no list of available updates on the System information screen. On the Virtaualmin Package Updates there was a long list of updates to be applied that I will not show here.

Note that I am running 3.73 and the package shown here is 7.5.

Is this a timing issue or is there a reporting problem? Was there a major update released in the past several days, did I somehow fall way behind in applying system updates, or is there a larger problem here?

Sounds like the system information page's cache didn't get updated with the new list of possible updates after you installed the new versions.

This is pretty harmless, and will go away by itself in approximately 5 minutes anyway..

Also looks like a timing issue with updates from CentOS 5.3->5.4 showing themselves right about this time.

Applying CentOS updates now, closing this issue as resolved.

Thanks
