If you manually edit the records file you will see at the top "This form allows you to manually edit the DNS records file /etc/bind/xxxxxxxx. No syntax checking will be done by Webmin, and the zone serial number will not be automatically incremented."
The last part "the zone serial number will not be automatically incremented" is incorrect as this is now supported using the check box above the "Save" button.
