drweb cons email every hour but I cant find drweb on server

Hi,

I did a clean install on centos 5 and then installed virtualmin with all its default settings.

Now I am getting a email every hour for a drweb update

subject Cron <drweb@domainname> /opt/drweb/update.pl hide details Feb 24 (1 day ago) Dr.Web (R) update details: Update server: http://update.msk7.drweb.com/unix/500 Update has begun at Wed Feb 24 01:30:02 2010 Update has finished at Wed Feb 24 01:30:42 2010

Following files has been updated: /var/drweb/bases/drwtoday.vdb /var/drweb/bases/dwntoday.vdb /var/drweb/bases/dwrtoday.vdb /var/drweb/updates/timestamp

The problem is I can not find the cron from the 'schedule cron' list or by checking directly in cron folders.

Also, there is no such file folder /var/drweb --so I am confused as to how to disable this email I get every hr now.

I do want the drweb if it is acutally there to check for virus and what not but not sure if its doing anything since there is no such folder.

oh...also, no luck finding the file that is getting executed as per email subject line /opt/drweb/update.pl

Thanks Alauddin

Are you sure this is coming from your new machine? It may be coming from another system ..

If you check the headers of the email (particularly the Received: lines), you can see which system sent it.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the update. I did turn off postfix to see if emails still continue and you are right. they are coming from some other system.

thanks Alauddin
