Failed to create system : Creating this system would exceed your total memory limit of 2 GB, as it does not have any limits on m

Hi,

This is what happens when I try to add a new system.

"Failed to create system : Creating this system would exceed your total memory limit of 2 GB, as it does not have any limits on memory usage."

I will attach a screenshot of the create window so you can see the parameters etc.

The host is cloudmin kvm gpl; centos 5 x86-64.

PS: that's the first vm I try to create within the plan (that allows 2GB memory), so no memory is used anywhere.

Are you creating the VM as root, or as an additional system owner account that you created?

As a system owner, it's the only system owner in the system.

Ok, I see the bug that is causing this, and will include a fix in the next Cloudmin release .. unfortunately it only effects KVM instance creation by owners, so wasn't noticed sooner.

Let me know if you'd like to get a fix for it sooner.

Jamie,

If possible please provide the work around prior to next Cloudmin release. I do all the testing I can as system owner (as this is what any potential customers will see) so it's important to have it working. It's not urgent though, so feel free to prioritise. :)

I can email you a patch if you like?

Absolutely, feel free to email me.
