email quota changed to unlimited but still receiving email saying over quota

The email account had a quota of 500 MB, this was changed to unlimited, but email messages are still being received stating that the account is at 99%, 499 MB.

If you go into Edit Mail and FTP Users, is the quota showing up as Unlimited there, or is it still 500MB?

If it's still listed as 500MB, what if you instead change it to something like 750MB, does that change correctly show up?

Yes that was the next thing I did. I changed it to 1024 MB - I still received an email stating that it was at 499MB and the quota was 500 MB.

One thing I omitted in the original bug report is that there is actually 649 MB in the mail box.

So it seems that there is a problem only with the quota notification.

What does the email notification say exactly?

Total wild goose chase I'm afraid. Client has two domains with us, one of which was over quota. This then led to the confusion. Apologies for the time wasting.
