Clean install email not working :/

Hey ive allway's had problems working out how the email system works on virtualmin over the years.

I made a new Virtual Server After it was made I clicked on "edit mail aliases" Than I hit "Add an alias to this domain" added the name as show in this image and hit create

and it now looks like this

so I send a test email to this email adress and it returned with this

Howdy,

Hmm, in that second screenshot, it doesn't look like you set a destination for that alias.

You would want to either set the username it should be delivered to (in "Deliver Locally"), or set the email address it should be delivered to (in "Yes, Forward to Address").

Got an example Eric? am not sure what you mean, I don't want it going anywhere else but to that email address

Well, do you see how in your second screenshot there, that there's no destination specified?

An alias has to be an alias of something -- there's nothing telling that alias where to go at the moment.

My recommendation would be to go into Edit Mail Aliases, click the name "vk", and then set "Forward to other address?" to the destination email address.
