Cloudmin 6.2 released

Cloudmin version 6.2 is now available for download from our YUM and APT repositories. Existing users should see a message on the Cloudmin Information page after logging in, prompting to upgrade to the new release.

This update contains several new features, including :

  • KVM and OpenVZ virtual systems can now have an IO class set, which controls the priority of their disk IO operations compared to other VMs on the same host.
  • Citrix Xen virtual systems can now have their network usage collected by Cloudmin.
  • The ISO file for a CD attached to a Xen or KVM system can now be changed while the system is running.
  • Backups now include the details of systems, as well as their disk images. This allows Cloudmin to re-create a deleted system from a backup as part of the restore process. In the UI, this must be done from the Backup Logs page.

As always, please report any bugs via our support tracker.
