Virtualmin reinstallation

SO is an Ubuntu 10.04.4.

After a virtualmin uninstall with sh install.sh --uninstall the reinstallation abort with the following error:

I dont know however uninstalling virtualmin isn't necessary unless you really want to get rid of it ..
I would reinstall the OS rather then uninstall the panel, just to be sure the system is clean.

Other option would be to fix what is broken if something went wrong

This looks like the OS is unrecognized for some reason. It's not configuring the binary repo, which is where procmail-wrapper lives. This is what I would expect from an unsupported OS version (but 10.04 LTS is supported, so this probably shouldn't happen and is probably a bug).

What's in /etc/issue?

Also, why not use the latest Ubuntu LTS release? 12.04 will have a lot newer packages, and will also be supported for a couple years beyond the EOL for 10.04 (which has until April of 2015 vs April 2017 for 12.04; the average life cycle of a server is a little over three years...so, thinking at least that far ahead is wise, and upgrading a production server, without a damned good reason, is generally unwise).
