Can Xen and KVM virtual machines run side by side, at the same time on the same host?

While I haven't tried that before, I'm under the impression that you can't run both on the same server.

You could run other virtualization types, but what I'm reading suggests that due to the way Xen and KVM work, they can't both run on the same server at the same time.

Yes, this is fully supported in Cloudmin. You will need to add the host under "Xen Host Systems" and "KVM Host Systems" though.
